What happens if I miss a day?

What actually happens

Missing a day breaks your streak count back to zero and costs you a small amount of XP. It does not erase anything you already read or prayed.

Shield of Faith can cover a miss

Doing extra study beyond your daily goal fills your Shield of Faith gauge. If you have a full shield banked when you miss a day, it absorbs the loss: your streak survives, no XP is deducted, and you see "The shield held" in your history instead.

Getting back on track

1. Open Today
2. Tap Start
3. Read and pray like normal

Your new streak starts counting from that day.
